In these tough and uncertain times, we’ve been racking our brains for ways in which we can help our local communities. To support those at risk and in self-isolation, we’ve created an online portal which allows individuals and businesses to inform us that they have a surplus of goods that we can distribute to those in need.

How the online portal works

It's a quick and easy-to-use system which allows users to efficiently detail the goods that they have available. Once you’ve completed the relevant details, our team of staff and volunteers will collect, store and then distribute your donations to those in need.

As well as collecting donations, the online portal is set up so that vulnerable individuals, charities and food banks can also call for help. Simply, fill in the online form and our team will be in touch with the next steps.

What we're looking for

Due to the fluid and ever-changing nature of COVID-19, time is of the essence. So, in the interest of efficiency, we’re asking individuals and businesses to collate their donations into at least 1 shopping bag worth of goods. In addition to food, we’re also accepting donations of any other essential items such as sanitary products.

How you can help

We’ll be donating whatever we can and we urge anyone in the Huddersfield area who has excess food and essential items to go to applieddigital.co.uk/appliedforgood and get in touch. We’ll make sure your supplies find a home that needs them more.

Alternatively, if you’d like to volunteer to join our team and offer your services please visit applieddigital.co.uk/appliedforgood - any support is greatly appreciated.
