The Car Spot

The Car Spot is a used car business with the aim to change the way people buy and sell their cars. This new business wanted to take a lead from the way the current generation of buyers value a brand’s trust level and openness; building strong relationships with customers in order to benefit from referred and repeat business.

The new website needed to be a showcase for the newly conceived brand identity, and support the big idea - ‘A better way to change your car.’ It also needed to convey the business as being innovative, fresh, friendly and transparent and clearly introduce its new product - a ‘sell on your behalf’ proposition.

We needed to deliver a modern, lifestyle led website with the feel of a new generation site, but with the functionality required to satisfy the more traditional customer.

Result

The bright and engaging style of the website makes best use of The Car Spot’s modern, fresh brand incorporating bold colours, friendly images and clear messages.

Simple and clear language directs the user to the most appropriate area of the site for them - BUY, SELL, FINANCE - with the layout of each page designed to deliver the information required by the customer quickly and effectively; from used cars available to buy, to a clear explanation of the ‘sell your car’ model.

Integrations

As the client already utilised a platform to enter all stock details that linked to Autotrader, we needed to integrate the same software into the new website, ensuring that the client would only need to enter the data once.

We also needed to integrate a credit / finance calculator to allow customers to quickly find out potential monthly payments, deposit and length of finance agreement, as well as actually apply for HP Finance.
