Google Plus Local Pages creates a great opportunity for local businesses

The change means any business should consider representing itself on the social media platform as a priority.

Google is continuously refining services now to push people towards creating Google accounts.

Google Plus Local can be accessed via a new tab on the sidebar of any Google+ User Home Page, enabling users to search specifically for local amenities, such as shops, restaurants and local attractions or events.

For ages now we've been advising clients to try and get as many customers to give them positive review to help with SEO and conversion of users, and this is another step in that direction, all under Google's own umbrella.
