We're Hiring! Experienced Web/Interactive Designer required

We're a growing digital marketing agency looking to expand the team with an experienced digital web designer. Working with the head of web development, you will be responsible for designing and building usable, results oriented websites to the latest industry standards.

In addition to designing and building websites, you will be required to turn your hand to banner ads, mobile website interfaces and app designs, email templates and graphic design layout to product literature. Ideally, you will have a minimum of 2-3 years experience working at a junior level and now ready to step up to your next challenge.

You will be required to take responsibility for all creative direction of current and future client work, so this role is ideally suited to a motivated self starter who is not afraid to take the initiative from day one. This is a great opportunity for a talented digital creative, with an enviable portfolio of creative work, to join a fantastic team of highly skilled and talented team.

Our studio can be reached easily from Huddersfield, Wakefield, Sheffield, Leeds and Manchester and is situated in the picturesque and beautiful setting of Holmfirth. Although public transport (bus) can be used to travel here, it is highly recommended that you are able to drive and have the use of your own car.

Technical knowledge

  • HTML5
  • Javascript and jQuery
  • CSS3 and Media Queries
  • Image optimisation
  • Multiple browser testing / capability
  • Expert knowledge of all relevant Adobe CS products including Photoshop, Fireworks, Dreamweaver and possibly Flash
  • Understanding of how websites interact with CMS and other external rules/content sources like APIs
  • Web standards compliance 
  • Understanding of SEO requirements and how they impact design
